Yesterday T-Mobile and LG let everyone know that they, too, would be launching an Android 3.0-powered 4G tablet this year. Little is known about the device right now except that it's called the G-Slate and has Honeycomb and T-Mobile HSPA+ connectivity, but today the two companies teased the device at T-Mo's CES press conference. We didn't really learn anything new, but hey, there it is.
The G-Slate wasn't the only tablet that was teased at T-Mobile's press conference today, as Dell gave us a brief look at a 10-inch tablet. There's not much official information about the device just yet except that it's called the Streak 10 (creative, no?), but if you squint at the image below, you can make out what appears to be a front-facing camera up top, a dock port on the bottom, and what appears to be a headphone jack and volume rocker on the left. If you're interested in the Streak 10, it'll be a while before you can pick one up, as Dell says it won't be available until next year.
We assumed going in that this CES would focus heavily on tablets, and we haven't been disappointed. I'm kind of surprised that Dell's waiting an entire year to release the Streak 10, especially considering how fast this industry moves, but perhaps they have something special planned for it or something like that. Luckily, we don't have to wait nearly as long to learn more about the Honeycomb-powered G-Slate (I hope).
