AT&T is the only major carrier in the U.S. without a 4G network right now, and we don't even know much about their 4G network except that its LTE and that its coming, possibly in the middle of this year.  That'll be changing later today, though, as it's been revealed that ATT will discuss the launch and rollout plans for its LTE network at CES today. 

I can't imagine that AT&T is happy about being the only national carrier out there without a 4G network, so it's not surprising that they want to get their name into the 4G discussion, too.  We've heard before that they won't be launching any LTE coverage until mid-2011, but for their sake, I certainly hope that that date will be moved up.  Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile will be spreading their 4G coverage pretty quickly over the next few months, and if ATT waits until the middle of the year to roll out their LTE network, they're going to be at quite a disadvantage.  Plus, I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't want to wait that long to get their hands on that Inspire 4G that leaked last night.  Our very own Aaron Baker will be live at AT&T's press event later today, so be sure to stay tuned for all the juicy details.
