We've seen Motorola's Honeycomb tablet, codenamed Stingray, leak several times this month, and there's one thing that has been missing every time: the launch date. The source of the most recent leak has put his two cents in on the matter, though, saying that the Stingray could make its debut on Super Bowl weekend. The next Super Bowl takes place on February 6th, so Moto's tablet could be coming as soon as the first weekend in February.
One of the Stingray leakers said that, while the hardware was ready for the market, the software still needed a little work. It's possible that Google's latest version of Honeycomb is lightyears ahead of what that source used, though, so an early February debut isn't totally out of the question. What do you all think? Could we be getting a taste of Honeycomb in early February?
