So you've watched all of the BlackBerry PlayBook videos to date, but haven't been impressed just yet? Perhaps this 10-minute demo video will push you over the edge. The folks over at BGR got to spend some quality time with the PlayBook today and, while they weren't allowed to actually touch the thing, they did come away impressed. Apps loaded quickly and seemed to close just as fast, multitasking worked well and a 1080p video continued to play just fine on the 7-inch screen, even while minimized, and the keyboard is multitouch enabled. Don't take my word for it, though; check out the full HD clip below.
While I've thought that the PlayBook looked good ever since its initial unveiling, this new video managed to make me even more interested in the device. The webOS-like multitasking looks great, and it's pretty neat that all four sides of the bezel are touch-enabled. It should be pretty interesting to see how developers can do to incorporate the bezel into their apps, I just hope that RIM and the devs can make sure that it's not easy to accidentally set the gestures off while holding the PlayBook. So, RIM, now that we've seen so much of the PlayBook that we may as well have demoed it ourselves, you wanna share some official launch and pricing info?
