It was only a little over a month ago that the PlayStation Phone was initially revealed, and now we've seen the gaming-centric handset from just about every angle possible. What we still aren't sure of, though, is exactly when we'll actually be able to buy the thing. A February launch has been tossed around as a possibility, but the folks at ITProPortal claim to have the truth. They're claiming that, according to a source inside Sony Ericsson, the PlayStation Phone will be presented at Mobile World Congress in February but won't actually be available for purchase until March.
Sony Ericsson has a history of announcing new hardware and then not releasing it for months, allowing hype to disappear and new devices with superior internals to come to market. It seems that they've learned their lesson with the PlayStation Phone, though, as it looks like a February/March launch is a lock and we've yet to hear a peep from the company. That certainly hasn't stopped the leaks from coming, but it's still admirable.
