AT&T has already done it, Verizon will be doing it on October 28th, and now T-Mobile will be doing it on November 3rd. Doing what, you ask? Moving to tiered data, of course! Yes, according to some images leaked to TmoNews, T-Mobile will be making the switch to tiered data on November 3rd. Like Verizon, T-Mo will be keeping its unlimited data option. Unlike Verizon, though, some smartphones will still require the unlimited data plan. Here's how the data options will allegedly break down:
There you have it, folks. It's great to see low-end T-Mobile smartphones getting a choice of a little or a lot of data. Sure, I'd love to see that option extended to high-end devices, too, but we'll have to take what we can get. After all, at least T-Mobile didn't pull an AT&T and eliminate their unlimited data option completely. Now we just have to wonder how long it'll be before Sprint gets into the tiered data game, as well. Any guesses, readers?
