There are already a multitude of tablets coming next year from manufacturers like RIM, HTC, Motorola, and HP, so why not have Toshiba join the fray, too? The company announced that they plan to bring a tablet device to both the U.S. and Japan some time in early 2011. All of the tablet's details are still up in the air, but Toshiba's tablet is expected to run Android.
While just about everything about Toshiba's tablet is still hazy, I wouldn't be surprised to see them take a shot at making it big with their own tablet. After all, just about everyone else is doing it, so why not them? I have a feeling Android would probably be the best bet for the company because, as we learned today, the OS is doing pretty well for itself. So now that Toshiba has let out its plans for a tablet, which manufacturer do you think will announce a tablet next?
