We all know that Microsoft is not going to be allowing skinning of their new Windows Phone 7 OS like they did with previous versions of Windows Mobile, but does that mean we're going to get a uniform software experience across all WP7 handsets? Not if HTC has anything to say about it. Two videos have leaked out that show off HTC Sense on Windows Phone 7 and, while it's not a radical change like a skin would bring, it's obvious that HTC is doing all that they can to help differentiate their handsets. There is one video above that shows more of HTC's Sense running within Windows Phone 7, and you can check out a video below of a new HTC phone running some software in Windows Phone 7 that looks to be called HTC Hub
We're only a couple of months out from the launch of Windows Phone 7, which makes these videos seem much more legit. Considering that HTC isn't allowed to actually skin the OS itself, it seems like they've done a nice job in adding their own touch to make their handsets stand out. What do you think of what HTC has done with Windows Phone 7? Do you think Microsoft was wrong in banning skins on WP7?
