We've already seen Palm's webOS 2.0 shown off in a multitude of screenshots, but today we're going to one-up those photos with an honest-to-goodness video. It may only be a video of the OS being emulated rather than actually running on Palm hardware, but at this point we need to take what we can get. The video shows off notifications, the new Phone app, the redesigned Launcher, QuickOffice (with Dropbox and MobileMe support), and the new JustType and Stacks features of webOS 2.0. You can check it all out for yourself in the video below and, if you're not a fan of dance remixes of '80s pop music, you should probably mute your speakers.
Palm is probably not terribly please with all of the leaks that have come out recently showing off their new OS, but at least it's keeping the company's name and product in the minds of consumers. Considering how long it's been since we've seen any new hardware from Palm and the increasing popularity of Android and iOS, I think that they should take all the help they can get. So readers, has all of the webOS 2.0 information been enough to keep you interested in Palm and their products, or have you moved on to greener, more robotic (or fruitful) pastures?
