We've seen the Nokia N8 announced, handled by our own Noah Kravitz, and even shown off in a couple of videos posted by Nokia themselves. Now Nokia's newest flagship device is finally up for pre-order, and it will set you back a cool $549.99. Keep in mind that this price is for the phone only, without any sort of carrier subsidy that some people are used to. Nokia says we can expect availability of the N8 at the "end of September 2010."
Some may scoff at the almost $550 price of the Nokia N8, but when you consider that you're getting the device without signing any sort of carrier contract, it's actually a pretty great deal. Most high-end phones actually cost around $500 or $600 without any carrier subsidy, and this one comes with Symbian^3, a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, HDMI out, and 16 GB of internal memory. So, are any of you out there thinking about pulling the trigger on Nokia's new hotness?
