There have been tons of HTC phone leaks lately, and judging by an invitation sent out to members of the press, it looks like the company is planning to announce at least one of them. HTC has scheduled an event in London on September 15th and, hidden in the smoke on the invite, you can faintly see what looks like the back of a phone. Engadget went ahead and enhanced the photo to get a better look, and it revealed what looks to be back of the Desire HD. No one is positive about what the device is, though, so we'll just have to wait about a month to find out for sure.
After examining the enhanced photo of the invite, the back definitely reminded me of the back of an EVO, the device that the Desire HD takes a few design cues from. Another interesting theory is that HTC may show off some Windows Phone 7 handsets, like the Schubert/Mozart that we've seen recently. The event, in mid-September, would be a good time to show off some WP7 phones considering that the OS is scheduled to land in Europe in October. What do you think HTC has planned?
