We spotted the Motorola CHARM on Best Buy's website yesterday, which indicated that we may be seeing the device finally launch in the near future. The evidence of an impending CHARM launch has grown today, as the device has just popped up on T-Mobile's website, which you can see right here. There's not much information offered that we didn't already know, but it's still a good sign. The site says that the CHARM is "Coming Soon," and now that the handset has appeared on T-Mo's site, I'm inclined to believe that that's true.
The Motorola CHARM may not be the most high-end Android device to date, but it is the first of its kind with a portrait QWERTY design. With the recent popularity of the Android OS and the form factor of the CHARM, perhaps some of the 21 percent of BlackBerry owners considering switching to Android will finally go through with the change. So, now that we've got the CHARM on both Best Buy and T-Mobile's websites, who wants to bet that we'll be seeing a launch in the next week or two, possibly to compete with the DROID 2, BlackBerry Torch, and Epic 4G?
Thanks, Ingo Neumann!
