If you're suffering from the same signal issues many iPhone 4 users are complaining of, by now you know that according to AppleCare you have two choices. You can either hold your phone a certain way such that no part of your hand touches the bottom left corner of the phone (aka "the dead spot"), or you can buy yourself a bumper for the low, low price of $29, from Apple. But unless you're willing to walk into an Apple Store (which may be easy enough, assuming they have bumpers in stock) you're looking at a three week wait just to get your bumper.
Don't fret, however, as it looks like there's a company out there who is willing to make up for Apple's mistakes. And all they're asking for? Well, just a little publicity. Cases.com claims that they will give you a free LifeGrip silicone case free of charge. You can select from black, purple, rose, blue, or white, and all you have to do is pay for the shipping, which according to Gizmodo comes to $3.73. The case will fix the antenna issue, and should also help prevent your phone from shattering in the inevitable event that you drop it. Any takers?
