So there is now a Samsung Galaxy S phone headed to five different carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular) in the country.  You would think five carriers would be enough for a phone release, but not for Samsung!  Cellular South, a carrier serving the southeast portion of the U.S., just announced on its Facebook page that it, too, will be getting a Galaxy S this fall.  There isn't much more information beyond a few specs we already know about, like the 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and 4-inch Super AMOLED display, but I'm sure we'll be hearing more in the near future.

I'm really surprised at how many carriers will be offering their own Galaxy S device.  Normally when a new phone is a new phone is released, you have to decide if its worth switching carriers over (if it's not on your carrier already).  Samsung has eliminated this issue by releasing the Galaxy S on six carriers, with more likely coming in the future.  So, who do you think is going to announce the Galaxy S next?
