Verizon snags Galaxy S, rebrands as the Samsung Fascinate

As expected, Samsung has partnered with all four carriers (plus US Cellular, the largest regional carrier) to offer some form of the Samsung Galaxy S.  Features include a 1 GHz processor, Android 2.1, Super AMOLED display, Mobile Hotspot capabilities (3G), Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth, and a 5.0-megapixel camera.  Unfortunately, no pricing or release information has been announced as of yet, but given the pricing of the other models, I'd say it'll be somewhere in the $199.99-$249.99 range.

The full press release is below.  I have to say, I'm pretty impressed to see the Galaxy S (in some form) on all four nationwide carriers and US Cellular.  Quite the accomplishment.  Verizon users, is the Fascinate enough to sway you away from the DROID line?
