We've attempted to pin down just what the Samsung Acclaim for U.S. Cellular looks like, but today Samsung did the work for us and outed the device on their site. The Acclaim has a landscape-sliding QWERTY keyboard with a dedicated number row and is running what looks to be a stock version of Android. Little else is known about the device except rumors that the screen is going to be 3.2-inches and that the phone will be launched in July. There looks to be an optical trackpad and some odd coloring on the keys which Engadget points out may indicate that Samsung has made the device ready for gaming. It will be great if the Acclaim is actually running a stock version of Android since it would be likely to receive OS updates quicker. Now we just have to hope that it will launch with a version of Android that is newer than 1.5 or 1.6. What do you think of the Samsung Acclaim?
