One big complaint that people have about the iPhone is that it doesn't fit well in a business environment, especially considering that it only supports one Exchange account per device (though that will change with OS 4 this summer). While that is certainly disappointing, it apparently is not hurting the iPhone in the enterprise, as 4 out of every 10 iPhones sold goes to an enterprise user. At the same Barclays Capital conference that Verizon has been dominating lately, AT&T CEO of Business Solutions Ron Spears spoke on Thursday about the popularity of the iPhone with business users. Some analysts believe that Spears is padding the numbers a bit by taking into account users who buy an iPhone and just use the device for business e-mail rather than using it as a full-on business device with calendar, business apps, etc. While BlackBerry users almost certainly continue to make up the majority of the devices owned by business users, it looks like the iPhone is gaining ground.
Do any of you use an iPhone for your business? If not, what do you use and why? Tell us in the comments!
