Whoopi!! The T-Mobile myTouch 3G, that's right, the myTouch 3G will in fact get their much awaited 2.1 update. After months of neglect, Android developers seem to have miraculously remembered the once highly anticipated device.
T-Mobile's VP of Product Innovation, Andrew Sherrard, states that the myTouch 3G will receive its 2.1 update “soon” with the update UI seen on the myTouch Slide. This update should refresh your phone and make it feel completely new. Let's just hope that “soon” actually does mean soon. From what we've all experienced with these Android 2.1 updates, they take forever to actually make it to the hands of consumers.
