Rocking Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 850/1900 UMTS 3G support, the Dell Mini 3iG (distinctively branded as "Aero") has passed through the FCC with flying colors. If you're sitting there thinking "I'm seeing double," rest assured, you're not - a generic Dell Mini 3iX with support for AT&T, Bell, Telus, and Rogers spent a little time with the FCC gang back in November.
Now that the device has made its way through the FCC, it's only a matter of time before we see the Aero on AT&T's shelves (sometime in Q2, if rumors come to fruition). The downside? According to Engadget, who was able to snag a unit for a little hands-on time, the device is filled with AT&T bloatware and feels like a featurephone. We'll reserve final judgment until the product hits the market, but needless to say, it's not a good sign.
