If you're in Philadelphia and are trying to think of ways to take advantage of T-Mobile's HSPA+ network, here's your chance. The nation's fourth largest wireless carrier has announced its webConnect Rocket HSPA+ aircard, and it can be had on March 14th.
According to T-Mobile's announcement, the plans that accompany the aircard are as follows:
Even More webConnect data plan (two year contract):
$59.99/mo. for 5GB per month ($0.20/MB overage)
$29.99/mo. for 200MB per month ($0.20/MB overage)
Even More Plus webConnect data plan (no annual contract):
$49.99/mo. for 5GB per month ($0.20/MB overage)
$19.99/mo. for 200MB per month ($0.20/MB overage)
Unlimited T-Mobile HotSpot access is included in all plans. In regards to data connectivity, T-Mobile reports that HSPA 7.2 (Mbps) is alive and well across all of its 3G footprint, and that the carrier is working to upgrade its footprint to HSPA+ by the end of the year. The device can be had for $99.99 at retail stores in Philadelphia, online at T-Mobile's website, or through telesales (1-800-tmobile).
