Here’s another personal fav: The Internet Movie Database. Who hasn’t hit up IMDb for moments when the old starstruck brain is on empty? The guy who played the Titanic’s architect? Victor Garber. Or the prior singing credits of one Glee co-star Cory Monteith? Absolutely zilch.
Well instead of waiting to hit up the data on your desktop (or trying to navigate via your mobile’s web browser — not an easy task), you can just use IMDb’s new iPhone app. When you need info — like who made a show or movie, the plot, user ratings, reviews, and trivia information — you now have access to it, all without launching Safari.
IMDb.com is the largest repository of star-studded entertainment information, with info on more than 1.5 million flix and TV programs covering over 3.2 million celebrities. The iPhone app provides access to the website’s full offerings, including trailers, photos, TV listings, cinema showtimes, box office results, recaps of U.S. TV episodes and a Top 250 list of films voted on by IMDb users.
The app is free, so if you want it, all you’ve got to do is hit this to grab it. (Link opens iTunes.)
