Verizon Wireless launches the Motorola Entice W766

It's not running Android, webOS, or any other popular smartphone operating system, but the Motorola Entice W766 is certainly a decent mid-range device.  Landing on Verizon Wireless today, the W766 offers a 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot with support for up to an 8 GB card, VZ Navigator, external touch sensors for the built-in MP3 player, and Bluetooth.  Expect it to be available online today for $39.99 after a $50 instant rebate with a new two-year agreement, and in stores later this month for the same price (with a mail-in rebate in lieu of an instant one).

The full press release can be found below.  After what seemed to be a marketing attempt to re-brand EVDO as "3G," it's interesting to see the carrier return to the "EV" icon.  For those of you that use Verizon, what do you think - is it worth considering as a replacement to your W755 (or any other device, for that matter)?
