Just like that we have a ship date for the brand new Motorola Cliq. Kinda sorta maybe.

David at TmoNews reported on a tip that T-Mobile USA will begin taking pre-orders for Cliq on October 19th. That would put the Cliq-in-your-hot-little-hands date somewhere around November 9th, going by Dave's logic: "in typical T-mobile fashion, a pre-order should give around a 3 weeks until delivery."

This is unofficial, obviously, and as one PR friend of mine once put it, "During the last month before ship we're testing and testing and testing and dancing around our target ship date as it slips back a day here, ahead two days there, and so on." In other words, even if this 10/19 pre-order date is accurate, it's impossible to pinpoint a ship date just yet.

T-Mo and Moto reps told me last night that pricing and availability information for Cliq will be revealed within the next two weeks. So stay tuned.
