Despite the fact that BlackBerry devices are the best in the world (okay, maybe I'm ever-so-slightly biased), the browser can certainly use a bit of improvement - especially in today's world, where an efficient browser is a must on a smartphone.  It wouldn't be very smart if it had a completely non-functional browser, now would it?

The good news?  Apparently, RIM has been cooking up a solution to the issue by building in full support for Flash and Silverlight into their browser.  And when they say full support, they mean full Flash - no Flash Lite.  The bad news?  Don't expect to see it installed on devices before next year, as RIM needs devices fast enough to handle it, not to mention HSPA or LTE data speeds.  So, like any good improvement, waiting time must happen - but it's nice to know that RIM is taking the smartphone browser war seriously.
