The problem with this industry is that I get wind of some new phone
that's months from release, I get all excited about it, and then just
days before I actually get the thing in my hands something else that's
months away from release itself comes along to steal all of my
gadgetlust away. To wit: I'm due to get the HTC Hero from John in a few
days, and now Expansys UK has gone and listed Sony Ericsson's Xperia X3
on their Coming Soon pages. I still want to get Hero in my hands, don't
get me wrong. But now I'm wondering if X3 - aka Rachael - is really the
girl for me.
Last week I posted about a video showing off what was claimed to be X3's custom Android user interface. Sexy. Totally sexy. Now Slashgear
(amongst other blogs) has uncovered specs and details of the device via the online retailer's product pages. No price, no ship date, but lots of
juicy details made all the more intriguing by rumors that X3 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset:
