Motorola Evoke QA4 coming to Alltel Wireless
On Thursday, Alltel Wireless announced that the Motorola Evoke QA4, recently displayed at CTIA 2009 in Las Vegas, is available through all channels.  The device, which features a 2.8-inch touchscreen with on-screen QWERTY keyboard, full HTML web browser, and a 2 megapixel camera.  The Evoke QA4 can be had for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate on a two-year agreement.  Via MobileBurn



Best Buy to offer Samsung S30 for $49.99
Though Sprint corporate stores will be offering the update to the Samsung Instinct for $129.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, Best Buy is poised to offer it for $49.99, according to a recent flyer.  The device, which will require an Everything Plan with data, will be available next week.  Via Engadget Mobile



OS 4.7.0.122 comes to BlackBerry Storm
In yet another update to the BlackBerry Storm, Bell has launched OS 4.7.0.122.  For those in the United States and abroad, the update is not official, however it can be downloaded here.  As with any software update, download at your own risk.  Via CrackBerry

iPhone on Verizon Wireless may be a possibility when LTE is launched
In a Wall Street Journal interview with Verizon Communications CEO Ivan Seidenberg, he nixed the possibility of the iPhone initially launching on Verizon, due to the CDMA standard and its irrelevance outside of North America.  Had Apple initially inked an agreement with Verizon, the company would have been forced to make a CDMA model and a GSM model for the rest of the world, resulting in high manufacturing costs.  Problems of this nature will disappear when Verizon launches its 4G LTE network, as it will be considered the standard for several carriers across the world, including AT&T and T-Mobile.  Via PhoneArena
