Mother's Day is coming on May 10, and in its honor, AT&T has a new promotion for three Samsung messaging phones with $50 rebate offers. 
Samsung Propel, $99.99 (not including rebate): Features a sliding body, full QWERTY keyboard, instant messaging, Mobile Email, AT&T Navigator, CV, AT&T Video Share calling, AT&T Mobile Music, a 1.3 megapixel camera Comes in orange, blue, red, and white/red.
Samsung Eternity, $179.99 (not including rebate): Multimedia 3G touchscreen device. Features AT&T Mobile TV, ?Video Share? calling, AT&T Navigator, mobile email and instant messaging. 
Samsung Impression, $249.99 (not including rebate): Recently released handset has 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and 3.0 megapixel camcorder/camera.
Each comes with a mail-in rebate good for a $50 AT&T promotion card. All of them also feature A-GPS, which makes it easy for Mom to locate you with AT&T's new FamilyMap location detection service.

CORRECTION: Edited to remove info regarding Mobile TV 60-day free trial. (Initial report from AT&T included the free-trial information, but those details have since been taken down off the AT&T site. No word on why.) There's also been some confusion regarding the Mother's Day promotion itself. The press release alluded to "buy-one-get-one-free prices," not a genuine BOGO offer available at the retail counter. I asked a representative from AT&T to explain the promotion in more detail, and here's the response:
Let's use the Propel as an example.
Customer goes into store and buys two Propels for $99.99/each. They then can mail in for the rebate of $50.00 for the first phone (making it $49.99) and $99.99 for the second phone (making it free).
By the way, the details on getting a rebate for a second phone was not explained in AT&T's release, only the initial $50 mail-in rebate offer. But it still seems to suggest that the "buy-one-get-one-free" enticement really only refers to the rebates, which ? as stated in the rest of the press release ? are only good for AT&T promotion cards, not cash. So does it truly qualify as buy-one-get-one-free? Well, I don't think so, but you can decide for yourself now that you have the info.
