Breaking News ... Vodafone gave us all a treat today by launching the HTC Magic, the world's second Google Android phone.

Magic will be an exclusive to Vodafone in the UK, Spain, Germany, and France, but I've got a STRONG suspicion that that exclusive won't last so long.  Remember those rumors about Telefonica of Spain launching Magic soon?  Well, keep 'em in mind is all I'm saying. 

Magic looks a lot like the "Sapphire" rumored to be headed to T-Mobile USA - it's a tablet device with no QWERTY board, but rather a 3.2" capacitive touchscreen with a trackball and six hardware keys below.

Speaking of which, I'm hearing that a few more Android announcements may be coming in the next week.  There's the Telefonica thing I mentioned before, and there also may be something coming for all of you T-Mobile USA fans.  But it might not be the "Sapphire G2" handset we've all been expecting.  Intrigued?  Stay tuned ...
