That's an Internet Media Tablet, late Fall / early Summer. The company has been focusing on entertainment-centric products, with an emphasis on web surfing and television. The IMTs have been called media players in many public venues, but that isn't the intent. These are tablet computers more capable with media than comparable products. And now, you can add telephony to the list of features.
We don't have a model number or name - no mock-up images or concrete specs. But if you take a look at the WIRED review of the ARCHOS 605, you can imagine how phone functionality would be integrated. Will the model be small enough to lift to your ear, or will it rely on bluetooth and wired hands-free headsets? Either way, it's an interesting announcement. Although the video linked above makes me think texting would be a pain.
