Not a lot of news at CES 2009 for LG, however, I did finally get to see the LG watch phone that was announced a month or so ago. I've been twittering about it, so I had to check it out. It's not nearly as big as I originally thought and has a little science fiction feel to it.

Though I'm not sure how many people would use this as a cell phone proper, but it does seem to be a great conversation starter if worn out in public. And hey, they've got band colors to match most outfits.

Also on tap was the LG Renoir (not available in the US), which you can see below. It's a touchscreen cell phone that's fairly slim and sports an 8-megapixel camera.
