Our friends at T-Mo news just hit me up saying they'd gone live with official specs and launch info regarding the T-Mobile version of RIM's BlackBerry Curve 8900. And they weren't lying.
February 11 is the date - that's a week earlier than previously reported. On the one hand, sorry for the bad info before. On the other hand, a week early is kinda nice, no?
I've got two big questions about the specs listed on this screenshot. 1) What in tarnation is "High Speed Internet"? Is that code for T-Mo's crappy new "Web2Go" WAP service? Did T-Mo somehow convince RIM to put AWS-style 3G into their 8900? Or is that a reference to on-board WiFi, and not lame old EDGE? And, 2) There's no mention of HotSpot@Home. Where's the UMA love?
