After that whole Foleo debacle earlier this year, it'd be cool to see something new and
good from Palm.  If Palm's PR people are to be believed - simmer down,
now, sometimes they're actually on the level - everyone's favorite
maker of Treos has something spectacular up their sleeves for unveiling
at CES next month.

The invite going out to media types - and being leaked at places
like Engadget - actually says, "see all that Palm New-ness you've been
waiting for."  Seriously, "New-ness."  

Your guess is as good as mine as to what Palm's got up their
sleeve this time, but whatever it is it'd better be good.  Palm's
hurtin' in an all-too-real way.  For their sake, let's hope that
whatever the New-ness is, its' got nothing to do with this random
T-shaped swivel phone that showed up on MobileCrunch
the other day.  No, no, there's no connection here - but for some
reason the T-swivel popped immediately to mind when I saw Palm's PR
invite for CES.
