Why mess around?  You join the PhoneDog team, you live in New York City, you hit the T-Mobile G1 launch party.  That's what we do.

PhoneDog is thrilled to welcome Adrianna Lee as our newest Contributing Editor.  We're so thrilled, in fact, that for her first assignment we sent her to last night's G1 launch event in Lower Manhattan, where she got to check out the G1 first-hand, see The Raconteurs live, and hob-nob with the likes of Jason "American Pie" Biggs. Yeah, its' a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.

But you don't care about the celeb stuff ... what'd Adrianna think of the G1 up-close?  "The G1 is sweet. I thought it would somehow feel more like a beta release, like really buggy and stuff, but it was impressive up close. And the Apps are super sexy. Can't wait to see how these are going to evolve, since everyone can basically create whatever they want from the open source."
