A couple of updates for you BlackBerry fiends out there:
First, reports have surfaced that the BlackBerry Bold will, at long last, launch on AT&T in the U.S. as early as Sep 29th (just under two weeks from today). BlackBerry News is pegging "the last week of September" for the long-awaited launch here in the States, and they're tabbing $299 as the on contract, after rebate price. I'll admit it, I'm excited about this one. Will I personally be willing to trade iPhone's touchscreen and eye candy UI for Bold's QWERTY board, trackball, and time-proven (mostly) Email service? Don't know, but I can't wait to find out.
Second, the BlackBerry Flip 8220 has been peeped in red. Looks like T-Mo will be launched Flip in at least two colors, and I'm liking the red relative to the fact that I'm not really liking the Flip on the whole. But I know lots of you are excited for the first-ever flip CrackBerry, so we'll be bringing you a full review just as soon as we can. Preferably a full review of the red version of the Flip, that is.
Meantime, you can drool over the red Flip - and even pre-register to get yourself one - on the T-Mobile product page.
