This is gonna be quick, as we've actually got a date with HTC in 20 minutes, at which time we'll hopefully get a little cozier with the Touch Pro and report back to you (ahem, with video, I hope).  But I got my mitts on a working Touch Pro in Microsoft's booth and I like it.  A lot.  I wish it was a little bit thinner, had a standard headphone jack built in, and somehow ran TouchFlo 3D without Windows Mobile underneath ... like TouchFlo 3D on top of Symbian, or something like that ... but all in all I immediately took to the Pro much more than I ever took to the Touch Diamond.

My big complaint about Diamond is that the screen is too small for me to comfortably use it with my fingertips.  And I'm just not a stylus kind of guy.  Pro's slide-out QWERTY board means I can type on buttons and use the touchscreen "only" for pressing buttons and gesturing my way through the UI - instead of trying to write messages and enter URLs via onscreen keypads.  Much, much nicer if you ask me.

Like I said, we'll be back soon with more on this one, but HTC may just have the Windows Mobile device of the season on their hands.  Look for it in the coming months on Sprint and AT&T (as the Fuze), at the very lest.
