Q. I don't know how much you have worked with the Nokia 6820 but I was wondering the difference between the 6820 and the 6820i. Also your opinion on the phone with the strange QWERTY keyboard. thanks a lot you are a lot of help.
A. I haven't worked with the 6820 or 6820i very much, but I used to have an E70, which is an unlocked smartphone with the same style keyboard. I really like the strange folding keyboard because it lets you have a full QWERTY in a small form factor. The only problem is that it makes the phone kind of thick (from front to back) ... well, that and the display is fairly small. These kind of phones didn't become so popular because the keys and displays were so small - people either wanted something easier to use or were willing to carry around a bigger phone in order to have larger buttons and displays. The "dual flip" format of phones like the Samsung Alias (for Verizon) became a more popular version of this style.
The 6820i is the same as the 6820, but the "i" version adds support for BlackBerry push email.
