So I'm at the gym yesterday, riding a bike with my iPod on. I look up from the article I'm reading and notice there's a woman on an elliptical trainer with a cell phone at her ear, yapping away as she worked out.
Now, on the one hand her talking didn't really bother me as I couldn't hear her through my earphones, anyway. But on the other hand signs all over the gym make it known that using a cellie within the facilities is a no-no. Personally I think it's bad form, too - listening to one end of someone else's call is annoying enough, but it's even worse when you're trapped with that person in an indoor public space.
But that's just my opinion. So I ask you, readers, what's your cell phone etiquette? When won't you use your cell? At the gym? At the movies? On a public bus or train? Inside of a store?
And have you ever been pushed so far as to ask someone else to knock it off and hang up the phone, already? If so, when, why, and what happened?
