Welcome to CTIA, kids! The party doesn't officially kick off until tomorrow but AT&T couldn't wait to get their fun started and thus has bestowed the Sony Ericsson Z750a upon us a day early.
While the SE Z750 isn't exactly a new handset (I went hands-on with it a full year ago at CTIA '07), it is new to AT&T's lineup here in the US as of this morning. The Z750a is SE's first 3G/HSDPA handset for the US market, and is basically a fashion-y clamshell with a mirrored front hiding an OLED display, a 2MP camera, and high-speed goodness for mobile Web and Email applications.
The Z750a can be yours in any day now ("early April," reads the press release) for $49.99 after rebate if you sign a two-year AT&T contract. Your fifty bucks also gets you the choice of "three tantalizing color choices: Mysterious Purple, Phantom Grey, and Rose Pink." I'll be sure to tantalize you with photos and video of all three colors of the Z750a just as soon as I can get my fingerprints all over their glossy surfaces when the show opens.
