'Twas the day before MWC and all through the show / fancy new phones were unveiled before the word "Go!" ... Sorry, had to rhyme.  The show hasn't even started yet and already we've seen a ton of new Sony Ericsson phones, the Samsung SOUL, and now three new LG handsets.

The LG KT610 is a candybar smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard running on the Symbian OS and Nokia's S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 (not the newer FP2).  Reportedly, the KT610 will feature GPS and HSDPA connectivity along with a 2.4" color VGA display.  According to the press release at Symbian's website, the KT610's screen is a "unique ... flip screen holding a PC-like QWERTY keypad."  Sadly, there are no images associated with the press release (huh?) so we can only speculate for now as to exactly what that means.  Flip screen like a Sidekick, maybe?

Meanwhile, the LG KF600 and 700 are touchscreen sliders - imagine the partial-touchscreen VZW Venus (KF600) and Venus with a full touchscreen (KF700) and you'll get the idea.  The KF700 features a 3" touchscreen capable of 240 x 480 resolution that's backed by a slide-down dialing pad.  The 700 will also feature a shortcut dial on the back of the phone for scrolling through on-screen options - kind of like the Viewty.  Looks like LG's also built a 3.2 MP camera and some form of GSM and HSDPA connectivity into both models - we should know more on the first full day of the show, when LG will presumably announce the handset (along with the Venus-esque KF600) all official-like.
