Motorola's been in the news a lot over the past few weeks. First came the rumors that they're exiting the handset business altogether. Next came the YouTube video teasing at MOTO's Mobile World Congress (nay 3GSM) announcements - looks like some Mobile TV handsets are in the works. Then came the news that MOTO CEO Greg Brown has taken direct personal control of the company's phone division - which could mean an internal turnaround or could mean a fire sale.
And now there's something for the phone geeks to get excited about. Photos of the MOTO ZINE Z12 have surfaced, and they look at least a little cooler than the Z8 and Z10 that preceded it. Word is the Z12 is packing a new 5MP camera with a CMOS sensor by Kodak, auto-focus, and a xenon flash. Additionally, the Z12 should feature 3G, Wi-Fi, and GPS connectivity.
All should become clear when MWC kicks off in Barcelona next week. Stay tuned...
Meanwhile, you can get more on the ZINE Z12 over at Electronista and see a photo at Just Another Mobile Phone Blog.
