Nokia World 2007 kicked off Tuesday with a very interesting announcement.  The Finnish company unveiled their new "Comes With Music" plan, which will allow people to purchase Nokia devices along with a year of unlimited access to free, downloadable music that they can keep even after their subscriptions to the plan run out. 

According to Nokia, "The program will launch with Universal Music Group International, and Nokia is in discussion with the remaining major international labels."  To reiterate the somewhat startling part about this, unlike subscription plans that allow you to rent songs that won't play once your subscription runs out, Comes With Music will seemingly let you download all the music you want for a year, and then keep listening to it after you cancel out of the plan. 

Or, as the press release put it, "Once the year is complete, customers can keep all their music without having to worry about it disappearing when their subscription is over."

Looks like Comes With Music will roll out sometime around mid-2008, and no word has been given regarding what devices the plan will made available with, or how much the plan will cost.  My bet's on the N-Series, and maybe those Xpress Music sliders ...
