Motorola unleashed nine new mobile phones upon the citizens of the world today, though one of them isn't really "new," but rather a special edition of a recently released handset.
The U9 is a clamshell music phone featuring a borderless external display with touch sensitive media player controls that looks pretty snazzy in the press photos. The U9 also packs Moto's CrystalTalk technology for clearer calls with less noise and distortion.
Moto's seven new W-series handsets ? the W156, W160, W175, W180, W206, W213, W377 ? are, according to the press release, "inspired by the vision of delivering Motorola's high-tier style and innovation at an affordable price point."
And then there's the limited quantity, special edition RAZR2, "just in time to celebrate the holiday season in style." Motorola has apparently taken the RAZR2 and "bathed [it] in gold and clothed [it] in snake like skin." Wow.
