Multiple reports have cropped up in the past few weeks all but confirming the Ocea-esque Pantech C810 all but ready for an AT&T launch. Built by the folks responsible for manufacturing the Helio Ocean, the C810 will feature a similar dual-sliding design with discrete layers for numerical and QWERTY keypads. Unlike Ocean's proprietary OS, the C810 is slated to run Windows Mobile 6.
The handset has recently shown up as a "Coming Soon" device on wirefly.com, and the listed specs include full 3G data support including HSDPA, a two-megapixel camera that supports AT&T's "Video Share" videoconferencing solution, and a QVGA display.
Boy Genius has a photo of the device showing the QWERTY board in full extension. Hard to tell the scale of the thing, but it looks to have keys that are larger (and hopefully a little more comfy) than those found on the Ocean, though the C810 is said to be smaller overall. BG also has run photos of an AT&T price sheet listing the device at a $299 price point with a two-year contract, or $499 with no commitment.
