Sony Ericsson's slim new slider phone showed up on AT&T's website today. The w580i (which debuted on Rogers a few weeks ago) features a QVGA display, dedicated music player controls, stereo Bluetooth, a 2MP camera with video capture, and - one can only assume - the latest version of SE's snazziest Walkman software. It's a quad-band GSM phone with EDGE but no HSDPA - still, EDGE should be past enough for the built-in Email and RSS reader apps as well as limited Web browsing.
The w580i also features this crazy thing called Shake Control that gives you limited control over the music player (track advance, rewind, etc.) by literally shaking the handset in your first. Well, alright then!
