The Sony Ericsson Z520 had a decent run, but now its time has come to an end. The phone has been discontinued by many carriers and those who still have inventory are desperately trying to move the phones off their shelves by offering big discounts.
Big discounts, money back and free accessory offers all sound good, but what happens if the phone stops working? Are you going to be able to get another Z520? I doubt it.
What are you going to do with all of the accessories you purchased?
The Z520 although a pretty solid phone has had its share of problems; mostly associated with a faulty main display. Many customers have complained of white lines showing up across the screen after only a couple days of use. This is an obvious defect and unfortunately there is no quick fix.
I would always recommend staying away from cell phones that are nearing their ?End of Life? status. They may seem like a good deal, but it may wind up costing you more money in the end.
