Sprint has announced the upcoming arrival of the new BlackBerry 8703e by Research in Motion (RIM). Sprint will begin offering the new BlackBerry device October 1st, 2006. With a new two-year agreement consumers can get the 8703e for $349.99. The BlackBerry 8703e includes Bluetooth® wireless technology, e-mail, organizer, QWERTY keyboard, and integrated GPS (assisted-GPS). With assisted-GPS users can receive turn-by-turn driving directions to anywhere on Sprint's network.
"The BlackBerry 8703e running on the Sprint Power Vision Network is a high-performance productivity tool. It is easy to use, yet provides industry leading functionality and exceptional flexibility for people on the go," said Larry Conlee, Chief Operating Officer, at RIM
This phone is scheduled to be offered through Lets Talk and WireFly within two weeks of the Sprint launch. Lets Talk and WireFly are generally able to offer all phones at substantially lower prices than when ordering directly from the carrier. All special pricing on phones applies when purchased with a new Sprint calling plan.
