Verizon Wireless offers LG Chocolate

Verizon Wireless has launched the new LG VX-8500, also known as the Chocolate, for use on its CDMA network.  Verizon Wireless is offering the phone for $149.99 when purchased with a new contract.  The Chocolate supports both WMA and MP3 music formates.  Hold up to 1000 songs with the expandable memory card slot and optional 2 GB microSD memory card.

This phone is scheduled to be offered through Lets Talk, WireFly, and Amazon within 10 to 14 days.  The mercharts compared on this site can generally offer all phones at substantially lower prices than Verizon direct when purchasing a new phone with a plan.
