OKLAHOMA CITY ? In a bold move to give its customers more freedom to communicate, Cellular One from Dobson Cellular Systems today unveiled an unlimited nationwide calling plan it says will eliminate overage charges forever.
Cellular One's new Stop Counting Minutes Nationwide plan allows its customers to make unlimited calls throughout the United States with no roaming or toll charges, according to Chief Marketing Officer Tom Roberts.
?The introduction of this new rate plan comes after a market trial that indicated the strong desire for an unlimited nationwide rate plan from high-end customers,? he said. ?We are excited to unveil this rate plan because it meets the needs of our customers and represents a dynamic new approach to wireless phone pricing.?
Today's announcement is the second major rate plan announcement by Cellular One in the last month. The company introduced state-wide unlimited plans in January, Roberts said.
?Our company goal is to offer Cellular One customers rate plans that best meet their needs,? he said. ?As the use of wireless technology continues to expand, our responsiveness to customer needs continues to set us apart from the competition.?
