Sprint has launched it's new "Power Vision" service, built on the company's growing EV-DO broadband data network, which includes a suite of consumer oriented multi-media services like streaming, high-quality TV, and on-demand full-track music downloads. For $2.50 a song, users can choose from over 250,000 titles from EMI, Sony BMG, Warner, and Universal, in Sprints Music Store. All songs are delivered in WMA format for use on a PC, and in AAC+ format for use on the phone. Songs download in as little as 30 seconds over the EV-DO network which is expected to cover over 130 million people by the middle of November. The Power Vision service starts at $15 per month for streaming live TV from ABC News, a streaming music channel from Sirius Satellite Radio, and unlimited internet and data access. Additional TV and music channels like CNN, E!, Fox Sports, the Weather Channel, and more... can be added for $5-$10 per month.
