XBOX One vs. PlayStation 4: Controllers, Marketplace, and Social Networking

The next generation of consoles have been interesting so far. We've had both XBOX One and PlayStation 4 on PhoneDog and both have performed very well. We liked the power and simplicity of the PS4 while the XBOX One proved to be more than your standard console. Now it's time to pit these two against each other. We'll discover both consoles' strong points and the areas where they can use some improvement.

We'll compare the XBOX One and PlayStation 4's design, hardware, software, applications, marketplaces, and social networking capabilities. In this episode, we cover some things that are near and dear to every gamer's heart. We start off with the controllers because they're simply the most important tool for any gamer. The DualShock 4 has come a long way from the DualShock 3, becoming bigger and more comfortable, while the XBOX One controller hasn't really gained anything other than a "screw-less" design. The marketplaces of these consoles are also very important, and going up against Microsoft and its Windows Store, it's clear that Sony's got a very tough battle on its hands.
